Each year, Amigos de Longfellow works with teachers and school leadership to identify Longfellow’s greatest needs and opportunities. Using their input, we develop proposed funding priorities, bring them back to staff for feedback and confirmation, and then focus our fundraising, grants, partnerships, and other resources on supporting those identified needs.

For 2026–2027, these priorities were confirmed by Longfellow staff on September 9, 2026, and approved by the Foundation Board on September 23, 2026, along with the budget that supports them. We also seek partnerships and supplemental resources that can extend our impact beyond what fundraising alone can provide. If we exceed our fundraising targets, additional resources can be directed toward these priorities and emerging school needs.

As the Foundation grows, we look forward to expanding the support we can provide across priorities identified by the school.
